What is House of Prayer?
The vision for the House of Prayer is inspired by Psalm 27:4, where King David expresses his longing to be in the Lord's house. We believe that David must have experienced the Lord's presence so deeply that his one desire was to seek the Lord, dwell in His house, behold His beauty, and inquire in His temple.

David’s deep intimacy with the Lord was the foundation of his effectiveness in every area of his calling—from shepherd to king. His consistent pursuit of God's presence, seen in his prayers, psalms, and dependence on the Lord, gave him the strength, wisdom, and courage to lead well, even in times of failure or hardship. It was this close relationship with God that set him apart as “a man after God’s own heart.” In the same way, whatever our calling—whether in our families, workplaces, or communities—true impact flows from a life connected to God. When we live from the overflow of His presence, our actions carry eternal weight and reflect His love, wisdom, and power to those around us.

With this in mind, our goal is to host His presence and create a space where people encounter the Lord, leading us all to a place where our greatest desire is to live for Him.
What should I expect?
Each set lasts 2 hours and will feature either live music or music from a playlist. Anyone can come and go as they please. We encourage participants to be led by His Spirit and respond to His prompting whether it may be through worship, prayer, meditating on Scripture, journaling, art, or sitting in His presence.

For some sets the designated leader will invite people to corporately respond to the Holy Spirit's prompting. This response may include, but is not limited to...

-
Encouraging people to share a word of encouragement on the mic to uplift and strengthen the body
-
Inviting people to pray for a specific intercession topic
-
Encouraging people to pray for one another
-
Meditating and praying the Scriptures
-
Taking Communion

Why are there different locations for the House of Presence?
We don't have a building or permanent place to gather right now, but we see this as God’s opportunity, not a limitation. In this season, we believe He is inviting us to trust Him more deeply and to step out in obedience. Rather than waiting for a structure, we are committed to establishing altars of worship wherever He leads—whether in homes, offices, churches, or temporary spaces. Our focus is not on a location, but on creating spaces where His presence is welcomed, His name is lifted high, and lives are transformed. We believe that as we honor Him in faith, He will provide and build something greater than we could ask or imagine.
How can I get involved?
We are looking to grow our team of worship ministers and intercessors. Any musician, singer, and/or intercessor at any level of skill can get involved. We have witnessed people growing in skill exponentially as they faithfully serve the Lord.

Participation in the House of Presence doesn't require attendance at Blessed Texas Church but we do encourage all team members to be actively involved in a local church community.
