About

Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go from your country, And from your relatives And from your father’s house, To the land which I will show you; (Genesis 12:1)

Our Story

Blessed International Ministries started on August 15, 2004 in the home of founding Pastors Ryan and Joanne Lee in Southern California after they received a powerful visitation from the Holy Spirit. During this encounter they received God’s calling to be part of a move of God that would impact nations. Since then, God established Blessed International Ministries as a local church in Anaheim, House of Prayer, and School of Ministry. By God’s grace, the ministry has expanded to 200+ churches and equipping centers in 15 nations (U.S., Mexico, South Korea, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, Togo, India, Ghana, Germany, Ethiopia, Congo, Burkina Faso, and Burundi).

Pastor Paul and Pastor Hannah was commissioned and sent to begin a new work after serving 10 yrs as associate pastors at Blessed International Ministries in Southern California. After much prayer and seeking God’s will, in the Spring of 2023 they decided to move to North Dallas with the vision to plant a church that will passionately seek God, love our neighbors extravagantly, and make disciples. Currently this community is embracing the call to begin this new community of faith in North Dallas.

Beliefs

Trinity

There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. This is known as the doctrine of the Trinity.

God the Father

We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We affirm His attributes of omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, ministered on earth, died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven. He is seated at the right hand of the Father and He will return again in glory.

Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit is God. Holy Spirit dwells within a believer, empowering them for Christian life, ministry, and witness. Holy Spirit convicts of sin, guides into truth empowers believers, and glorifies Jesus Christ.

Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final and supreme standard for truth, faith, and conduct. Scripture was given by the Holy Spirit through human authors and is without error in all it affirms. It reveals God’s character, His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ, and His will for our lives. As such, the Bible is to be faithfully studied, rightly interpreted, and obediently followed in every area of life

Church

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers who have put their faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. It exists to glorify God, proclaim the gospel, disciple believers, and serve others in love. The Church is both a spiritual family and a visible community, called to live in unity, grow in faith, and be a light to the world. Through worship, teaching, fellowship, and mission, the Church fulfills God’s purposes on earth until Christ returns.

Salvation

Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is a gift from God, not earned through good works, and is received by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. It is written in Romans 10:9-10, "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Eternal Life

Believers of Jesus Christ have the hope of eternal life in communion with God, while those who reject God’s grace will face eternal separation from Him.

Sin and Holiness

We believe that repentance from sin is essential for a right relationship with God. It is through genuine repentance that we turn away from sin and receive God’s forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Living a life of holiness is the natural response to this grace—a daily commitment to walk in obedience, reflect Christ’s character, and be set apart for His purposes. Holiness is not perfection, but a pursuit of God that transforms our hearts, minds, and actions to honor Him.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We affirm in the continual manifestation of spiritual gifts today as described in Scripture. Like the Apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 14:1), we encourage believers to earnestly pursue love and desire the gifts. As a church we first prioritize and encourage believers to grow in our love for God and people. Second we guide believers to exercise God's gifts in alignment with the teachings and principles found in Scripture.

Priesthood of Believers

We believe in the priesthood of all believers, affirming that through faith in Jesus Christ, every believer has direct access to God. Each individual is empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve as a minister of reconciliation and a representative of Christ’s love and truth. This priesthood grants all believers equal standing before God, encouraging every believer to participate actively in worship, prayer, and the proclamation of the Gospel. We uphold the responsibility of believers to minister to one another and to the world, demonstrating God’s grace and compassion through our lives and actions.

Communion

We believe in the sacred practice of communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper or Eucharist, as ordained by Jesus Christ. Through communion, we commemorate Jesus’ sacrifice, celebrate His victory over sin and death, and anticipate His glorious return. It is a tangible expression of our faith, fostering spiritual growth, grace, and fellowship among believers.
